4.4 Lead Import & Validation

Q1: What columns must my Lead CSV include?
A: Required: FullName, Email, Title, Company.
Optional columns: Country, PhoneNumber, LinkedInURL.

Q2: I’m seeing errors after uploading leads. How do I fix them?
A: Click the error icon next to each row to view validation messages. Common issues include:

  • Invalid email format (e.g., missing @)
  • Duplicate email within the same import
  • Empty FullName or invalid characters
  • Job Title exceeding 50 characters

Correct each row inline or re-upload a corrected CSV.

Q3: Can I map custom columns?
A: Not in this version. Custom field mapping is planned for a future release (Q4 2025).

Q4: What happens to leads that fail validation?
A: They appear in the Errors Log at the bottom of the import table. Download the log as a CSV (with error descriptions), fix the rows, then re-upload.
